Similarly, in a study conducted by Microsoft, in the situation of businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, 74% of business leaders affirmed that innovation is imperative and important to the resilience of businesses. The results of the above surveys show that digital transformation plays an important role in helping businesses grow and develop stronger.

In particular, small domestic enterprises will be crushed by foreign "shark" enterprises, and will gradually die prematurely. In digital transformation, whoever converts first will dominate the game and dominate the entire playing field, then the one who follows will lose their place.

As a pioneer in digital transformation in the agricultural sector, Loc Troi Group has so far applied quickly and achieved many initial successes. Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuan - General Director of Loc Troi Group stated that digital transformation is mandatory, without digital transformation, production will not be implemented because Loc Troi is thriving in other localities due to the total The area currently supporting cultivation is over 1 million hectares of rice with more than 200,000 farmers.

In 2020, the unit started to manage the company with the overall management system ERP. At the same time, becoming the first company in the agricultural industry to deploy an ERP system that integrates IFRS international financial reporting standards in Vietnam. As a result, for 3 consecutive years, the unit's rice has the highest quality rice in the world but still ensures product traceability and complete information. According to Mr. Thuan, currently in the agricultural sector, only about 10% of farmers have access to digital technology and use smartphones.

"To be able to transform technology in the agricultural sector, it is necessary to effectively apply "Paperless office - field without footprint - cashless production" - Mr. Thuan said.

Towards human resources and business strategy

Regarding digital transformation and technological innovation in production and business, Mr. Pham Duc Nghiem - Deputy Director of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology) said, Survey shows that only about 5-6% of Vietnamese enterprises are capable of absorbing modern production technology, while technology creates new growth for the whole economy.

Appreciating the effectiveness of digital transformation, many businesses have a different view. Specifically, not focusing on technology but focusing on people. Mr. Truong Binh Nguyen - Vice Chairman of Skale's Board of Directors said that many people think digital transformation is the first technology. This has been and is creating a major barrier.

According to Mr. Binh, it is important to change the mindset of leaders. When business leaders have a good strategy, everything will change.
