This is India's major textile trade fair, organized by the International Textile and Apparel Exhibition Association (IGFA) and the Apparel Export Promotion Council of India (AEPC) under the auspices of the Ministry of Textiles and Apparel. and the Indian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Fair, emphasizing the importance of the Textile and Garment industry, Indian Minister of Industry, Trade and Textiles Piyush Goyal said: Over the years, the Indian Textile and Garment industry has made a common contribution to the economy. economy. The fact that India has signed free trade agreements with the UAE, Australia and is negotiating with other partners will open up great opportunities for textile enterprises.

The 67th IIGF Fair showcases a wide range of products including textile products such as yarns, organic cotton, textile accessories, fabrics including hand-woven fabrics. Textile products include products for toilets; bedding; cloth towels for the kitchen; curtains; uniform; clothing fashion; embroidered garments; designer labels; sustainable products and various laundry detergents in the garment industry.

The fair has attracted about 350 participating units to introduce the latest and most modern collections that are popular around the world. Textile enterprises and importers from all over the world are invited to participate in this event.

16 Vietnamese enterprises attended the fair to do market research, meet partners and study new consumer trends in the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on the textile and garment industry, requiring Vietnamese businesses to quickly change and adapt to new needs and trends.

IIGF is an international prestigious textile fair and is always on the list of must-visit events of long-time global merchants. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two fairs (October-November 2020 and October-October 2021) were held online.

Both events received high praise from the participants, helping exporters showcase their latest designs in the apparel and garment accessories sector.
