On May 24-25, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Vietnam, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) jointly organized a webinar on promoting cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in the textile industry.

According to information from the Embassy of Azerbaijan, many businesses from Azerbaijan and Vietnam participated in the conference. The participants listened to a number of presentations by leading companies of the two countries, familiarized themselves with the regulations governing textile business in both countries, and discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation. mutual trade and investment. The workshop decided to continue the contacts, as well as to consider the possibility of organizing mutual visits together with establishing face-to-face business cooperation.

In a recent exchange, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Anar Imanov, talked about the great potential for economic cooperation, trade and investment between the two countries, including in the textile and garment sector.

“Due to not attending trade fairs and exhibitions in the other country, they did not know each other's markets and did not show interest. Therefore, the starting point is probably to take the necessary measures to bring businesses of the two sides together, promote enterprises of each country to attend trade fairs and exhibitions in the other country.
