     According to information from the Ministry of Health, as of the morning of August 8, Vietnam had 205,656 infections, including 2,343 imported cases and 203,313 domestic cases. The number of new infections recorded in the country during the outbreak since April 27 to now is 201,743 cases, on July 22, there were 6,194 new cases, of which 30 were imported and 6,164 were recorded domestically.

     In the face of complicated disease developments, the Southern Textile and Garment Corporation - Vinatex (VSC) has implemented solutions to maintain production activities while ensuring epidemic prevention measures. VSC always focuses on employees, identifying employees as the core factor towards the success and development of the Company. VSC will always accompany employees even in the most difficult times.

     At the emergency meeting held on the morning of July 19, 2021, Mr. Nguyen Hung Quy - General Director of VSC gave instructions for the directors of factories to more closely control the prevention of disease. epidemic at the factory, strictly implementing the 5k measure of the Ministry of Health guiding, implementing the "3 on-site" production plan along with ensuring the rights of workers at factories.

     Model “3 on the spot” (on-site production, on-site dining, on-site rest). This is one of the urgent models that the factory applies to maintain and avoid production disruptions during the current period of strict anti-epidemic measures. Currently, the Southern Textile and Garment Corporation - Vinatex has two units, Vinatex Kien Giang and Vinatex Can Tho, which are implementing the "3 spot" model, with the number of 50-70 employees mainly working in warehouse, packing and finishing department to support shipments to ensure the factory's heat to prevent the factory from shutting down completely, and also to limit the risk of disease spreading to the community. The third unit, Vinatex Bac Lieu, is currently working in 2 shifts with no more than 300 employees, in order to ensure the regulations on social distancing of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu Province and the Government as well as to ensure income. health and safety for workers.

     Following the direction from the Board of Directors of the Corporation, three factories of VSC have made preparations for facilities to ensure the effective implementation of both production and epidemic prevention models. Typically, the "3 on-site" production model that Vinatex Can Tho and Vinatex Kien Giang are applying and implementing:

     Firstly - On-site production: Ensure that all employees always wear medical masks during production, before entering the factory, all workers must wash their hands and disinfect. Along with production activities, factories also strengthen propaganda about epidemic prevention measures to workers as well as residents living in the vicinity. In addition, the regime for employees participating in production under the "3 on-site" model will receive additional allowances to partly reduce difficulties and encourage the working spirit of employees.

     Secondly - On-site dining: the factory ensures food for employees including breakfast, lunch, dinner and fostering if overtime. All workers will eat and drink at the factory's canteen, follow safe distances, wash and disinfect hands before entering the cafeteria area to ensure epidemic prevention.

     Thirdly - Rest on site: The factory has prepared and provided mosquito nets, nets, mats and pillows for workers to rest at the factory and rest assured in production.

     The factory also pays great attention to the personal needs of employees, namely the installation of shower rooms for employees so that employees can be comfortable in personal activities such as: shower, wash hair, brush teeth…

     Not only ensure the facilities for the implementation of the "3-on-the-spot" production model, but the factories also ensure medical work, medical staff are available 24/7 at the factory, ensuring health and safety for workers involved in production at the factory.

     Although the "3T" model is an urgent model to help maintain production during this period of isolation, it is not a long-term VSC model. The implementation of this model increases the burden of costs in production, which can be said to be "supercharged fees", in addition, the implementation of "3T" also has the potential to create an outbreak in the factory, which is difficult to control. control . Therefore, being aware of the heavy influence of the current Covid-19 pandemic, Vinatex is taking measures and fully preparing facilities, quickly deploying health models to direct businesses to the goal. "Living with the epidemic" in the safest and most effective way.

     In order to join hands to contribute to disease prevention, VSC also hopes that all employees will strictly implement epidemic prevention measures, strengthen propaganda to raise awareness of epidemic prevention at home as well as in the locality.
