On the afternoon of May 29, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee of Southern Textile and Garment Corporation - Vinatex (VSC) held the 3rd Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending and directing the Congress was comrade Le Tien Truong - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group.

     Speaking at the opening of the Congress, comrade Nguyen Hung Quy - Party Secretary, General Director of VSC said that in the 2020-2025 term, in the context of the world and domestic economic situation facing many difficulties and fluctuations with many complicated developments, the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, political instability, declining consumer demand, fierce market competition, abnormal fluctuations in cotton raw material prices, etc., textile and garment enterprises faced many difficulties. However, with the initiative and sensitivity in management, the flexibility in building plans, action programs, and fundamental solutions suitable to the market situation, especially under the timely leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Group, along with the efforts of all employees and workers, VSC has achieved high results in production and business activities. Specifically, revenue increased by an average of 5% per year (equal to the plan); profit increased by an average of 17% per year (exceeding the plan); Export turnover increased by an average of 5% per year (equal to the plan); Workers' income increased by an average of 12% per year (exceeding the plan by 7%), jobs were stable and workers' lives were increasingly improved.

     In the 2020 - 2025 term, the collective leadership, party members and employees of VSC are always united, trust in the leadership of the Party, highly unified in the leadership, direction and implementation of directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Party Committee of the Group and the Party Committee of the Company. The Party Committee has paid special attention to ideological work in the entire Party Committee, improving the material and spiritual life of employees and workers. During the term, 44 initiatives and improvements were applied to production activities at the units. Every year, the review and evaluation of cadres and party members are carried out seriously in terms of political responsibility. 100% of party members complete their tasks or better.

     In the 2025-2030 term, with the motto "Connection - Thinking - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", the Party Committee of Southern Textile and Garment Corporation - Vinatex aims to: Build a clean and strong Party Committee; promote core values, focus the strength and intelligence of the collective to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee. Continue to promote innovation, breakthrough, creativity, application of science and technology, improvement in production to move towards a green, clean, smart production unit with sustainable quality and advanced labor productivity. Continue to improve the leadership capacity of the Party, strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party; maintain and promote good core values, focus the strength and intelligence of the collective to create new values. Promote innovation, breakthrough, creativity, application of science and technology, improvement in production, aiming to become a green, clean, smart production unit with sustainable quality and advanced labor productivity. Closely link the production and business strategy with the strategy of building and developing corporate culture to strongly promote the role of culture, the role of human factors, promote endogenous strength, ensure the rapid and sustainable development of the enterprise. Be determined with the goal: To become one of the units with important contributions to the overall development of the Group, and at the same time aim to be in the top 5 units with the best production and business efficiency of the Group by 2030.

     Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Tien Truong - Member of the Government Party Committee - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group praised and highly appreciated the results that the VSC Party Committee has achieved in the past term. Comrade Le Tien Truong emphasized that in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VSC has affirmed its solid position and resilience to the difficulties brought about by the market. From 2020-2024, VSC's operating results have generated profits, which is an outstanding achievement, affirming its position, increasing its competitiveness, and drawing lessons for the formation and development process of VSC in the coming time.

     Comrade Le Tien Truong suggested that in the 2025 - 2030 term, VSC Party Committee needs to transform from the directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the guidance contents of the Group Party Committee into specific contents associated with the production and business activities of the unit. Continue to promote the work of Party building and development, innovate the content of Party activities associated with the production plan of the unit. Pay special attention to ideological work in the entire Party Committee, improve the material and spiritual life of employees and workers. Promote development with intellectual capital, innovate business methods, new customers, new markets as well as test new products, invest in talented staff resources are the core solutions for the sustainable development of VSC in the new period.

     At the Congress, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, comrade Le Tien Truong presented the VSC Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term with a banner with the message: "Creative youth - Persistent learning - Continuous innovation - Effective competition".

     The Congress elected the Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 05 comrades, comrade Nguyen Hung Quy was elected as Party Secretary for the 2025-2030 term; elected a delegation of 05 official comrades and 01 alternate to attend the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
